“On Interpretation of the Natural Scene” Part II

Here's the second part of this visual poem (as taken from Sierra Club Handbook, 1947 edition) accompanied by George’s photographs:

"He who has known the jubilance of mornings, and the quietness of dusk, the flash of waters in the sun,  the solemnity of storm, the vigor of the sky, and the endurance of the arid lands, attends the rituals of spring, the living fires of autumn, the quietness of winter, and becomes one with the world."

We are renewed and healed by inviting in the natural world.

“He who knows the Jubilance of Mornings…..

He who knows the Jubilance of Mornings…..

…and the Quietness of Dusk….

…and the Quietness of Dusk….

….the Flash of Water in the Sun…..
